Scratch built entire engine compartment including engine mount, firewall, turbo supercharger, oil tank, fuselage fuel tank, hydraulic reservoir and hydraulic accumulator, throttle linkages and armor plate. Superdetailed Aires P&W R2800 engine and cowl flaps. Scratch built entire engine exhaust manifold, engine cowl interior framing detail, sun glasses resting on gun sight. Scratch built and detailed parachute and “Mae West” life preserver resting on left horizontal stabilizer. Scratch built ammo betls, detailed gun bays and machine guns. Scratch built tail landing gear, landing hook and detailed main landing gear. Vaccuformed canopy and added PE rearview mirrors and operating crank. Scratch built seat frame, oxygen mask and hose, gunsight reflector and underwing landing light, identification lights and nav/position lights. Hand painted over 1,200 individual rivets on wings. Separated and repositioned elevators and rudder. Scratch built rear gear retraction mechanism, intercooler and flap, oil cooler and ducting.

Heidi lets the tank driver know what she thinks about having her bike run over. Driver was made from seven different figures. Aber PE kit was used for the Pz III. Street, walls, and steps were carved from foam. Two hundred sixty nine hours to complete.

Aurora 1/12 scale.
Major conversion from Aurora caveman. A soldering iron was used to melt the plastice to reshape the figure and fill gaps. Mail was made with brass rod mounted on a soldering iron. Pressing the iron into the plastic forms a melted ring to create one ring of mail. There were a lot of rings. Clothing was made from tissue coated with PVA. Ax and sword are scratch. Epoxy to make the beard and pouches. Belts made from lead. help carved from foam with details added.
