- 2011 marked the 100th birthday of the United States Naval Aviation. Since it all started at the North Island Navy base, it is
understandable that the Coronado Library took on the responsibility to maintain a rotating by-monthly exhibit all year long to
celebrate the centennial event. Many modelers contributed to the exhibit by lending models that were related to the
