- The IPMS San Diego met on April 27 at the Veterans Memorial Center & Museum in San Diego. Only five models were entered into our second quarterly contest and were split into two categories. However, members brought a good number of models for Show 'n Tell.

Gary Williams is busy building an SDB-5 Dauntless and an SB-2 U Vindicator, both 1/48 models from Accurate Miniatures.

Tony Beres is working on a 1/48 Hasegawa P-40 E Warhawk. Tony enlarged the camo pattern from the instruction sheet to match the model size and cut and pasted it as mask for Model Master enamels airbrushing.

New member Xiaoyu Wang brought this 1/35 Dragon Tiger 1, in addition to the Flak 37 that he entered in the quarterly contest. Xiaoyu said that the Tiger is built out-of-the-box.

Marion Canizaro says that he's building this 1/24 Tamiya Ford Escort WRC out-of-the-box, making it an exercise in sharpening his painting skills.
