The IPMS San Diego met on January 31 2014 at the Girl Scout Center, located 1231 Upas St. in San Diego.
This was our first Quarterly Contest of the year which saw a modest attendance, with a few models brought for Show 'n Tell.

Eleven models brought by eight members were entered in the first Quarterly Contest of 2014. Lead Judge Jerry Jackson divided them into three categories: Aircraft - Prop, Aircraft - Jet, and Miscellaneous.

Scott Langille brought his Meng 1:35th scale T-90 A which is not quite complete yet. This is the first time Scott has used Valejo paints. The IR lights are LEDs wired inside the turret. |

Scott also brought this 1:35th scale D9R armored bulldozer, also from Meng. Scott says that although the tracks need a bit of tweaking to get the proper sag the kit is excellent, and includes actuators made of aluminum.
