IPMS San Diego held a meeting on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Girl Scouts of America campus on Upas street.
We discussed Model Expo with an emphasis on what we want to do for next year. A few items of note:
- We would like to send preliminary flyers to the Southern California Gundam Model Competition on November 9 (see http://thosegundamguys.org/southern-california-gundam-model-competition/). This means that we will need to come up with a date and themes earlier than usual.
- Per request by Tony Beres, we would like to hold the contest two weeks earlier than usual – in mid-May. This request is being relayed to the IPMS-USA Regional Coordinator for approval.
- Rachel Ambrose’s diorama building demo was a big success! Can we get more volunteers to do demos next year?
